Lessons For a Revolution: #5 – Self-Nourishment

We simply cannot create authentic change at a societal level without establishing ourselves in the foundations of basic sanity and enjoying our life. Those who do try to work for the greater good at the expense of self-nourishment will fall short of their goals and end up sick for their troubles.

If our ultimate goal is to build a life-affirming society based on wisdom and compassion, then we must begin to build those qualities by walking our talk and cultivating the health our bodies.

The fruit of investing individual time, energy and resources will be the future we will create. If corporate power has destroyed nations let’s fill the vacuum with a new one, one that protects and nurtures human beings and their health.
